The valve disc moves in a straight line along the centerline of the valve seat. The valve stem movement type is commonly referred to as a \u201chidden stem,\u201d while there is also a lifting and rotating stem type, commonly referred to as an \u201cexposed stem.\u201d A globe valve is a type of valve where the closing member (valve disc) moves along the centerline of the valve seat.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Technical features<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The structure is simpler than that of a gate valve, making manufacturing and maintenance more convenient.<br \/>\nThe sealing surfaces are less prone to wear and abrasion, ensuring good sealing performance.
